We are expanding our Phoenix Metro region with very little competition and the opportunity for our first outside sales representative in the region is tremendous. Primary responsibilities of this position include selling annual memberships to potential exhibitors and up-selling complementary products and services, such as advertisements in our magazine, marketing materials for their booths, and potentially larger contracts for full sponsorships.
Job Responsibilities
Generate new Exhibitor and Corporate Host leads through telephone appointment setting.
Conduct 7-10 weekly face to face meetings with new potential clients.
Establish a rapport and build relationships with potential customers.
Maintain and update contact data in company CRM system.
Set and review performance goals weekly, monthly and annually.
Adhere to company best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
2 to 3 years experience in outside sales.
Proven track record with year-over-year top line growth.
Ability to work independently and away from an office environment.
Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office products, etc.
Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
